A bit about us,

Concrete Bar is located on Cable Car Lane just off Lambton Quay. Wellington’s famous Cable Car is a historic, scenic and a convenient mode of public transport. Cable Car Lane is a dynamic place with our corporate and business neighbours, tourists and suburban residents all part of our local mix of regulars.

Stoneham building is a listed heritage site, with a very interesting history and many uses over the years. It has been a bar for the last 24 years, albeit under different names and owners. We have recently discovered the original plans and drawings of the building.

A little bit about our team. We are an elite group from all over New Zealand. Our General Manager Dixie enjoys our wide selection of Wine on offer with a particular liking to our Square Mile Sauvignon Blanc. Our Head Chef Honore’s favourite end of the night tipple is Ardbeg Single Malt Scotch & our staff Georgia, Phil & Alex loves all our Cocktails & Beers.
